I am ready to buy a ratchet type crimper (Ancor, etc) but there are several choices.
Which one do you have or recommend?
 
I have an ideal 83-001 ratchet crimper. Makes a perfect crimp everytime. They list for around $175 but I bought mine new on ebay for $65. Just watch the listings and one will come up.

I have an Ancor 702017 economy double crimper tool. The major difference between it and the more expensive 702015, is that the latter has adjustable jaws. i have made thousands of crimps with this tool over the last 30 years, and no adjustment has been necessary--cost is somewhere between $55 and $65.
