Craigslist, Boat Trader, Offer Up, Etc - For Sale Page

I want to see if the Admins and group members would be open to creating a sticky page on the for sale section where other members can post listings they have found throughout the internet.

I follow the Wander the West forum and they have a sticky post similar for Four Wheel Campers, see link below. Four Wheel Campers are pretty rare and hard to find so everyone who is shopping, when they find a link but maybe its not the right one for them they post it on that sticky for others to find. C-Dory's are pretty rare and hard to find and I thought this would be great to add to this forum. I have been shopping for a while, and find ones that don't fit what I want and would love a place to share for others.

Just an idea.

Wander the West Link for example.

I, too, would be interested in this and came here to suggest it. The Downeast Boat Forum has two for sale sections: Classifieds Boats For Sale (ie, listings managed by the poster: seller, friend, family, broker, etc) and also Found Boats For Sale (ie, members who come across listings that aren’t theirs, like Facebook, Craigslist, local papers, pics of boats on the side of the road, etc). I find it very helpful and, as a member of that forum, have contributed to it myself and even gone to take pics of one nearby for somebody. Otherwise for C-Dory boats we have to check this site, Craigslist tools (that search wider areas than just local), Facebook, boat trader, yacht world, Google, etc., and have an honestly skewed perspective on market pricing by only seeing C-Brat asking and selling prices (which in many cases are wildly over market compared to these non-brat listings— not always, but many times.). I’d think the logistics of the new forum could just be posted and left, no need to archive, no need to follow-up, but just share links, pics, and numbers for members “on the hunt.” Please and thank you!

An excellent idea. I think this would be extremely helpful, not only to buyers but it would help sellers in pricing their boats and wording their ads.

We've all been there, searching for the right C-dory to fit our wants and needs. Searching near and far and using various search mechanisms. I always considered the hunt part of the package, when you go hunting you don't always bag what you went after but had fun doing it.
Something that has been good about this site is that when a boat shows up somewhere there is always a c-brat to post a link to it here. Many if not most of the time if we know someone is seriously in the market we will contact them via pm and let them know. It is what makes this page special brats helping brats. That's how i found my boat and that's how i accomplished many repairs over the years.
I am not going to speak for the administrators of this site but they have a lot to do to keep this site running smoothly. I can see some merits to this suggestion but i wouldn't want to add additional duties on them to maintain another page that is sure to fill up. While we're here a big Thank You to the administrators TyBoo and Da Nag for all they do.

What is a sticky page

A forum thread which is always at the top of the page. In the C brat site, the Home page has boats for sale by owner--as well as the forum,

There are many boats which are found by C brats which cannot be posted in that forum, and I certainly see the use of that type of forum.
