I hope this might be helpful to someone
I’ve followed up on the cantilever top manufacturers mentioned here in Florida and have some updated info.
“Blue Coral Towers” of Pensacola fl. has likely closed up shop, no current phone listing exists.
Marine Metals of Williston fl. Has also closed up shop too.He retired, thankfully he still answers the phone …..he gave me the name of his guy from his old shop. So……..
The New fabrication guy in Williston fl. Is………drumroll……….

We have not used Derick and are still in the early negotiating stage of this process of getting our boat properly dressed. we’ll post some more updates as we go along.

I doubt that Blue Coral is out of business. The phone number which I have had for some time for Blue Coral, still is answered. I can drive by the shop tomorrow if necessary. (850)-453-0330. They have always had a significant back log of business, and they are not cheap, because they do high quality work.

Blue Coral Facebook Page has a photograph taken 2 days ago of a delivery of a tower.
 
I did not know that Troy at Marine Metals retired. He did a lot of work on my boat including my cantilever cockpit cover. I believe that Derick did most of the welding for Troy. He should be able to do a great job for you. You are welcome to see the one on the C-Otter if you are in the area.

I'm sorry to say my friend and employee Derek Oberst is no longer working for Marine Metals .He has choosen to start a business of his own .As many of my friends know self employment has it's up's and down's .Please wish him the best . Troy Wilson

Thankyou for the correction. Hopefully they are still open. We need them all. So much for my internet research .I’m sorry for any bad info , The number I found was no longer in service .
