Cabela's Spotlight Twin Pack for $18 + $6 s&h

Relatively inexpensive / replaceable spotlights like these are a nice compliment to expensive permanent lights mounted on a boat. (On left, below.)

I've also bought some really big ones with rechargeable lead-acid batteries inside, but after a year or two, the batteries need replacement, and seem to be fairly expensive compared to the original cost of the spotlights, a serious drawback, IMHO. (On right, below.)

Marie keeps asking why we have so many of this type of spotlight. The reason is that it is cheaper to buy a new one, than replace the battery!! I just cannot throw away a good light--which has a bad battery! :)

that seems like a good deal on the Cabella light. 10-roger on the battery replacement cost. We bought one of those ginormas lights like Joe pictured, had a lot of fun with it. I cured the battery issue with this baby

Do you carry that on top or strap it to the bow? 8)

And the next important question is………….

Did you spot any night bombers and get any with your anti-aircraft fire?
