Saw a CD16 sitting on the front lawn in Monona, WI yesterday. Name was Tadpole. The only C-Dory I've seen in this area - ever.
Robert, how ironic that the owner put Tadpole up for sale the same day you posted this.

Dixie and Brent on Discovery gave me a call yesterday and we had a delightful dinner at the Bistro in Nanaimo's Port harbour. My lady friend Carolyn has heard about C Brats of course but Dixie and Brent are the first she's met. It is so nice having friends drop in for a visit on their way by. safe travels guys and see you in the Broughtons. George :D

Saw C-Cakes and R-Matey at the customs dock at Bedwell Harbour, South Pender Is, BC.

Earlier in the day I saw Noro Lim leaving customs and heading north under the Pender bridge.

Like I have said before, God I love this place! Patrick and Kim get to meet Herb and Willie, Brent and Dixie get to meet George, this is what it is all about! Brent and Dixie only made one mistake - declining an offer to stay at the Crab Palace while their boat was being bottom painted in Ferndale, a mere 5 miles south, before they launched in Blaine, a mere 5 miles north! Oh, well...

It was nice to meet George and Carolyn in Nanimo. We talked to Barry on C-cakes via radio and look forward to seeing them in a week or so. We also talk to Noro Lim at the fuel dock in Nanimo. We saw a 22 Georgie in deep bay but did'nt chat. Now we are in Comox on pirated WiFi from the Gas n go dock. Gas is cheaper in Comox than Nanimo.

PAt, you are right. It was a mistake not to stay at the Crab Palace. Your offer was very generous. Wish you and Patti were coming up this way. SEE you at Lake Powell.

always looking for more c-dorys

I saw two C-Dorys this evening on Jackson Lake in Wyoming. Both are on mooring balls at Leeks Marina - a 22 and a 19. I've seen the 22 here in the past, don't recall seeing the 19. I don't think either owners participate here, but if you do, it's good to see those fine-looking vessels in this beautiful location.

Our marina has the best protection on the lake and is the only one with slip rentals (almost all are seasonal, 6 transient slips)... but, we are still waiting for the water level to come up so we can get our boats in and guest boats can get to their slips. Should be sometime next week at the current trend.

This is the first C-Dory sighting for us since we left Texas in April.

Best wishes,
Jim B.

Mamalena from Victoria parked next to us on the dock at Reid Harbor on Stuart Island. Missed their names, but nice folks enjoying the sunny day in the San Juans.

I've seen two 22' Cruisers in the last 2 weeks while kayaking in Seattle. One was tied up with houseboats in Portage Bay 2 weeks ago. Then yesterday after work I paddled up to look at one tied up to the NWOC (Northwest Outdoor Center) dock on Westlake next to China Harbor. That one didn't have a name but it had a C-Brats sticker on it. It had a maroon stripe and looked like it hadn't been used or cleaned in a long time.

Saw on first C-Dory ever on the water. Not For Hire was anchored off the North End of Sugar Island near the shipping channel on the Ste. Mary's River.Thought of going over to say hello but i was running late, nice looking boat.

Kind of a late post but I wanted to report on the super-mini gathering of C-Brats at Shilshole Bay Marina. Kevin on Catch-22 is right across the dock from us and across the fairway on the V dock is Jan & Stacy of C-Change.

We had an impromptu gathering last Friday night on the dock. Looking forward to seeing them periodically this summer. There's still a slip right next to us on the U dock, U-31 if I'm not mistaken. Another C-Dory would look great there. :wink

Pulled into the Fort Warden, Marine Science Center dock yesterday after the PT Rowing race safety boat detail, and when I returned to the boat there was a 19 tied aft of my stern. Waited around for a while and the owner and his boys showed up, they had been up in the center, and were on the way home to Whidby island. Kris, on Admiralty C, it was nice to meet you. Looks like the boys were having a great time, and hope the fish and chips for supper went well.

Fished Westport on June 24-25 and saw C-Dawg launching on 6/24. Gave Rick the fishing report, we limited that day, 12-16 pound Chinook. Saw him fishing on 6/25, which was tougher fishing, but we got 3 nice ones.

Saw and hailed Chack Chack during her visit last week. Then saw Catleen moored at Solomons Yachting Center last night. It's a C-Dory parade in Southern Maryland.

Penny and I were at John Wayne Marina attending a wedding and saw a 22 with blue stripe and honda power at the transient dock. No name on the boat.
