C-Dory Sightings

I spotted Soulmate in front of the Friday Harbor marina on Sunday. Joyce and I were coming back from Victoria (via Sydney) on the ferry. I took a couple of photos of Soulmate in the water. For those of you who don't know, Soulmate is a 25' CD cruiser configured to seat 6 and used for whale watching tours out of Friday Harbor.

Yesterday on my walk at John Wayne I saw one of the Toland 18.8's headed into the dock. Met Bill and Sharon on the their way home after a night at Sequim Bay SP. He was telling me that there were only 11 of those boat manufactured, and there were 3 of them for sale at one time, here a while back. Some of you have met them as they are the ones who have dropped by the Sequim Bay CBGT a couple of times.

Brigner (c-Pearl) Enjoying Orange Beach/Perdido AL area and Thunder on the Gulf weekend.... Room overlooks wet slips and crane that is lifting and splashing the race boats. Cool. Saw a C-Dory heading out of the Perdido Pass around 2pm and we past them again as we were heading out and they returned to the pass area around 430. Could not see name on the boat.

Found Wild Blue anchored and taking a nap just off the beach at Barracuda Cove near Port Isabel.

Darn, wake up Jim and get honking on the new book about Izzy!

Charlie :cat :love

I did wake him up. Yes a new book would be great. I finally finished his first book.

This is where I spent the rest of my afternoon Relaxing.jpg

Hey, I was awake... just finished lunch and was about to settle in for a nap. Two foot swells with about a 12 second period... I love being rocked to sleep! Great afternoon on the boat

Now, regarding a book about Izzy... family members have asked the same thing. My response: she has to do something besides looking cute. Plus, she likes Joan best. A cute cat poster or calendar, maybe... I
it'll be a while for a book.

Charlie, thank you for the nice review on the book... and he slipped in a C-Brats reference. :D

Best wishes,
Jim

Jim, you're welcome for the review, shoulda thought more and done better but if it sells books for you, its' done its' job.

As for the sequel, you do the calendar and if Izzy likes Joan best, let the Blonde write the book. Time to bring her to the forefront anyway, you've been hogging the limelight long enough...

As for nap times, I really regret resisting naps when I was 2 or 5 years old. I really love them now!

On Oct 21, I saw a C-Dory on TV in McCovey Cove at ATT Park during game four of the SF Giants/Phillies series. You might see another one there tonight, and that would be yours truly. I'll have two flag banners and orange lights on the roof. Go Giants.

At game two of the World Series, saw this CD22:

Just kidding Warren. I was zeroing in on the word "followed". Bad joke I guess. :wink

Sorry if I came across too serious or PO'd. I was trying to return the joke! Oh well, can't win 'em all...
