Saw my Lake Powell "Mother Ship" on I-5
headed south towards home. (WA milepost 60)
Sea Pal, hope your trip up north was wonderful.
We are returning home from Laguna Seca. Good times.

Passed a Cruise Ship 25 on Latimer Road in Tillamook. I was bringing Constant Craving over to chase some fish, and the 25 was heading home. We waved!
 
saw an all white (no stripe) newer 22 cruiser with Oregon plates going north on I-5 in Lynnwood this afternoon
 
All white? Wonder if that's a new option?
 
I was sitting on a log in Departure Bay Nanaimo this afternoon and on the horizon saw a distinct looking pilothouse, as the boat came off plane it was a 16 angler light blue looking to set up some lines. No bino's so don't know who it was but cute boat. George
 
Saw lots of C-Dorys today. Saw C-Dragon heading out of Port Orchard Marinas about 5 minutes before us. Then saw a no-named 16 that is anchored on the south end of Bainbridge Island. And, last but surely not least, saw Tom and Susan on their new-to-them 27 at Eagle Harbor on Bainbridge Island.
 
c-Dory's everywhere!!!

I saw ( in no order) Aurelia, catch 22 fishing ( not catching), two 16s on moorings around bainbridge, a 22 angler in the marina at Eagle harbor, and a 29 ranger at the Everett ramp this morning. Neat boat with a great boat/ dinghy combo name. Dragons Breath and Puff.
 
The "Hunkey Dory" was travelling South on 117th and later on 500 in Orchards - Vancouver, WA about 12:00 pm. I waved in my yellow Wrangler.
 
Saw a nice 16 Cruiser at Bridge Bay Marina Yellowstone Park last weekend. Never got a chance to catch the owner. We were there for 2 nights.

Hey Kevin...if you saw the Oregon boat on Saturday around 2:00 or so that was Amy, Teddi and I headed to launch at Bellingham. Our boat has has the Tan strip that at a distant blends in with the boat.

Went over to Matia and spent the night and then over to Lopez. Family arrived from Montana on Sunday night via ferry and we just took them today (Monday) over to Jones Island and then to Roche...had a blast! They are here tomorrow so probably Friday Harbor then maybe Rosario. They leave Wednesday morning so we plan to hang around until Saturday or Sunday when we head back to Portland.

Saw a 25 stick their nose in at Jones then left. Couldn't read the name.

Spent the weekend based at Fossil Bay, Sucia Island. Sat morning, early, took a spin over to Matia and found a real bonus. Tucked into Rolfe Bay, was Maridian 480, (boat name LIAHONA), with a 16 Angler up on the aft boat deck was a 16 Angler, and snuggling up along side, was a 22 Cruiser. No name on either, but the 22 had the tan stripe.

Hey John, was that you, If so, I should have tried the horn, but it was 0600.

I made several calls on the VHF, both on 16 and 68 for "C-Brat" with only one response, and that one was a Trophy named SeaBrat. :monty

Also queried Sea Dancer, looking for Peter and Caryn but wrong boat.

Figured all the C-Dorys were taking the weekend off.

Cool photo. Don't know the boat. It is not from the FaCtory Guy photos of the Columbia entrance fame.

Looks like what I felt like on our Princes Louisa trip, 9/08. Giant (8ft) aft port quartering waves for about 30 miles. Great surfing.

That is a really cool photo. I compared it to a photo of FaCtory (FaCDory?) Guy taken by Neil Rabinowitz (copyrighted). It looks like a picture of FaCtory Guy based on the radar, GPS antenna, and spot light on the roof. The picture that I compared it to is the one showing FaCtory Guy almost airborne going over a large wave. It can be found online by doing a Google search on C-Dory images. From the coloration and style of the photo, it looks like it is likely also a Neil Rabinowitz shot.

I've had my boat airborne going through Destin Pass over the standing waves between the jetties. It was a fun ride. I bet that surfing seas like shown in the photo would be sporty.

That may have been Scot's (Former owner of C-Dory) Meridian as he owned a large (Meridian/Bayliner) and had a 16' C-Dory for a dinghy.

What is interesting about that boat is that it is one that the factory took back because of a problem with a leak. I think the leak turned out to be a rivet in the rub rail that was allowing water into the cabin.

We saw an unidentified Tomcat 255 on a mooring buoy in Portage Bay on Sunday afternoon as we were exiting the Montlake Cut.
