C-Dory Sightings

Saw today a 22 foot with Radar on the ICW docked at Larsens Marina in Sea Isle City NJ-no name. Do not see many C-Dory's in this area-no doubt on vacation and hauled the boat down-It was set up nicely for fishing-if the owners out there and needs any local info give me a call.

Dave, have you checked behind the barn to be sure it wasn't the Sea Shift?
Charlie

Charlie, I was immediately relieved when I saw the Hondas instead of the Johnsons. :thup

Walking the docks yesterday in Port Townsend and saw a new-to-me C-Dory tied at Point Hudson. A blue stripped, 22 Cruiser, 1987 named Lucille, out of Eugene, OR. Spending some time on the water. According to Steve it is one of the first Cruiser models, and still running original power, a 70HP 2 cycle.

Steve, nice to get to chat for a bit. Welcome here, and have a great rest of your trip.

Jay and Jo-Lee of Hunky Dory tied up across from New Moon yesterday in Auke Bay, and we had a nice visit. Sounds like they've had a truly adventurous cruise of northern SE Alaska this summer!

I saw "Barbara Ann" yesterday (Aug 9, 2010) on Front Street, Port Angeles Washington heading West toward the Boatyard and its launching areas.

Although I'm not a big golf fan, I decided to peek at the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits on Lake Michigan. Lo and behold I spotted a C-Dory, 22' Cruiser, dark stripe, light bimini top with twin engines at approx 12:51 pm PDT right after Jim Furyk's shot.

Pretty cool huh? :thup Who was that?

This is August, why are you not in the PNW?

My son and I spotted a great looking green and white C-dory heading south on the Bend, Oregon parkway last Friday afternoon about 4 PM. Don't know who you are or where you were going but hope you had a wonderful time!! I envy you!

Saw a CD16 in Birch Bay today while crabbing on Crabby Lou, exchanged "hellos," boat name was Chips Ahoy, no hits searching for that name here...crabbing was rotten, we brought up dozens and dozens of little ladies, only two keeper males...

Same experience last week up in area 7 North. You'd think it'd be loaded on opening day but...lots of females and small males and only one keeper. We did catch a dog-shark though.

Got a call from my sis, She saw a green stripe C-Dory up by the grocery store. I jumped into the car and went to find it. Saw CAVU and got a chance to talk to Ken and his fishing buddy, on the way back home, from some time out west. Nice to get to chat Ken, stay cool and enjoy the rest of the trip home.
