The Admiral has a hard time passing an antique mall without stopping!
We are on our way to Brent and Dixie's (Discovery) in Richfield, UT. I'm going to leave the boat there until Xmas when we pick it up and continue on to Florida. This is an attempt to circumvent as much winter snow as possible. It has been gorgeous weather all the way, so far.
Friday, 10-24, cruising into Eagle Harbor from Blake Island, I said to my wife, "wonder how long it will be till we see another C-Dory". I then looked to Port, and there was a blue trimed 22 C-dory motoring along. Hi John of Johnbenj. Nice to meet ya. We continued on to circumnavigate Bainbridge Isl., saw a gray trimed 22 at Brownsville Marina......Greeniron
Lee Kincaid of Bellingham recently sold his 2007 25CD to Jeff Pugh of Petaluma, CA. Today we had the opportunity to meet the new owner along with his dog, Princess Leah. The green trimmed C-Dory left Bellingham about 2:30 towed by a white one ton truck. Traveling south on I-5, just in case someone sees them.
I received a copy of "Life Lines" magazine today. It's put out by Sea Tow. On thumbing through it on the third page low and behold there was a 22' C-Dory. No information about the C-Dory it was being used in and article about safety at sea. The owner was in the cockpit maybe someone recognizes him?

Passed a C-Dory on I29 between Brookings and Sioux Falls. We were heading north back home to Brookings. They were going south. We were so surprised to see another one we weren't exactly sure of the name. If it was you, please contact us.
Yesterday was a rare day here in the South Sound. Sunny, and very clear after the morning fog burned off. I was walking the beach along the west side of the Tacoma Narrows and saw two 16's fishing between Pt Fosdick and the bridge. One was a Cruiser, the other an Angler. Nice looking boats!
Yep, a beautiful afternoon. I managed to get Cheeto out for a little mid-winter exercise. Greeted folks on C-Daisy entering Gig Harbor. and saw Miss Lee at the city dock.
Last Saturday I was at the Indiantown Marina on the Okeechobee Waterway and was talking with a couple guys who had in inquired about my 22. I had my back to the waterway and one of the guys said look over your shoulder. When I did a 25 CD Cruiser passed by on the canal about 100 yds away heading east. I think it was green. By the time I got to the VHF to try and hail them they were out of site and didn't answer on 16 or 13. Just curious who it might have been and sorry I missed you. Incidentally Indiantown Marina has a nice free barbecue on Saturday nights for the guests. I'll post more on my trip when I get out of this stupid hospital and to my log book. It's really a nice trip.
Yesterday while land cruising in the Little Boston area, (N end of Kitsap Peninsula) we spotted a 22 cruiser, "Check Raise" with a green strip and green camperback. Also, in the far off distance saw a Ranger Tug moored.
Two sightings today while fishing the Columbia. A 255TC going upstream just downstream of the Willamette. Couldn't read a name but it had a green stripe and a blue partial bimini. Saw this one around noon. A little later, I saw a newer model 25' CD heading east by the I5 bridge.
Last Sunday my wife and I were cutting through Marshfield Massachusetts on Damons Point Road when my wife, Sheila spotted a 22' C-Dory hidden behind a fence. I stopped and met Ron Mcallister who had purchased the C-dory from a storage Yard in Marion MA. He was going to purchase a new engine for it.
we passed a 22 cruiser driving between vail colorado and winnemucca nevada, i think we were in utah, snowing like crazy at the time, couldnt see a name, the tour's almost done, rolling into seattle tomorrow for our shows there, can't wait to get out on the boat!
I met Jeff this morning here in Quesnel, BC heading north to Alaska with his new boat. She is a real sweetheart. Wished him a safe trip. He still has a long way to go and the weather is poor.
Spied True Story Tim at Andrews Bay in Lake Washington. I was bicycling by and stopped to give a shout-out. Tim joined us for Desolation Sound '05, and looked to be having a quiet, relaxing Sunday afternoon on the hook.
Also gave Yan a holler as he boarded his docked boat.
