I took the tinnie (Gregor 14 aluminum) up to Lake Merwin today and saw Rock - C on the way home from her trip to the Gulf Islands, and Coop's Cruiser was on Merwin chasing kokanee.

Fishing was a bit slow, and the kokanee are starting to change into spawning colors. I picked up (and released) a fish that was getting quite red.

On our way home from Seattle Wednesday afternoon, met a green stripped, 22 cruiser with what looked like twin honda 50's headed east on 101, along the southwest side of Sequim Bay. Sorry, I couldn't get a name, but we blinked and waved.

Also saw a gray/silver one headed north on I-5 between Bellingham and Annacortes on Sunday evening. We were towing back home from Horseshoe Bay, Vancouver BC and a short Princess Louisa trip.

Spent last week in S.F at www.slowfoodnation.org .That was the "woodstock" of the Slow Food movement. At Fort Mason Marina , saw not one but two C Dories . A 24 Tomcat that was obviously getting use and attention and a 22 Classic that was getting alot of bird dropping attention .

Was making calls on Rt. 301 in Bowie, MD, last Friday, and saw a 25 being towed south. Blue with no name.
Tried to give the driver a thumbs up, but he was towing a load and concentrating on the job.
MD registration, so, we have them here on the right coast too.
Bill

Yeah, and what's up with no names?

Hey Jack...if you saw a Tan 22 with OR registration that was me...Crazy Frazey (John)!!!!

Amy and I were there with my cousin, his wife and my two uncles. We arrived Saturday evening...cruised a little that night then took them to Jones Island for the afternoon on Sunday. On Monday we took the cousins to Oak Harbor for a stroll. Had lunch with the cousins and uncles at the Potlatch resort where they were then headed home...just arrived back in Portland about 7:45 pm on Monday night...WHAT A JAM-PACKED FUN TRIP for us all. The cousins are from Missouri and my uncles are retired and traveling in a 5th wheeler. If you're around town say howdy to them...you can't miss them...about 6'4" and 6'5".

Wave me down next time and I would love to say hi. If I come back there I'll try and remember to pm you before we do.

P.S. we saw a 19 footer at Blakely Island...nice fella...we only said hello because we were headed out.

John

Hey John :thup
I'm going to start taking pictures of you guys that go by without waving. :moon If you go south by Shelter Bay on a really low, or minus tide, :smileo I'm the one that has the large sign that says,"Move Left- Sand Bar Ahead". C-Dorys usually don't have to worry, but we catch our share of larger power or sailboats. :sad Last minus we had a Sailboat and a Trawler blow on by to spend some time on the bar. :crook Stop by,we can always find an open slip and a cold beer. :smiled Jack

Jack...funny you should mention that...I noticed it get shallow on the right in the area you mention so I moved a little to the left and found some deeper water. Sure glad I was in a C-Dory!

Will plan to stop in next time we are in the area!

Safe Boating,

John

Saw a new green Tom Cat at the Skyline Marina sling, called Sea Cat. Apparently the owner is on this site but I did not catch his user id and he was occupied with getting his boat launched. The boat has 140 Suzukis. Anyone know who this is?

Saw this 22 footer entering the locks today. It had a name, I think it was C-Dawg.
