C-Dory Sightings

Pat , What time and day do you guys plan on heading down that way? If we could swing it we could caravan down and we could lead ya in there. We aren't sure yet on our time ,we are still scheduling.....

I've been just too busy (working?), because I spotted a Gray 22 Cruiser in my backyard. Been so dang long.........
I'm gonna have to get some nice jewelry for it. Hopefully it remembers me...

Being right on top of things, answering this 2/27 inquiry on 3/4 is just about par for the course...I don't know what I want to do - what should I want to do? Cruising is good, I like cruising...I just want to know where to launch and where to hook up with all you good folk, where we are spending the night, what we are drinking, etc., etc. - I plan to be a total follower on this adventure! And learn how to fish!! And maybe we should actually move this to the right thread (Bill?) for the benefit of anybody else who might be looking for info on Cathlamet and not actually think to look in "C-Dory Sightings" for some strange reason...

Pat, do you wish to put in in Catherderlammet at the marina or do wish a bit of a cruise before you hit the marina? directions await your answer

Jim - here is my timely reply - we are not sure! I think it could be any time after noon or so on Friday April 9...love to hook up somewhere and follow you in...

We'd just left LaConner this afternoon and driving east on Hwy 20 (5PM) when we noticed somebody's 16' C-Dory with red trim heading west. Everything happened so fast that we couldn't make out any other details.

There is a parked 16' or possibly 14' C-Dory I pass every day traveling from Fall City (home) to Snoqualmie (WØRK) on SR 202 at (more or less) Spring Glen, not more than 1/4 mile from where Patty and I lived between 1979 and 1985...I mean to stop and say hello one of these days, find out more about it.

Hey, Marty, was that you yesterday at 1 p.m. heading south under the 520 bridge? Looking through my binoculars from Madison Park I spotted a dark trimmed 22' Cruiser with a Honda and radar, and a flag flying atop the cabin. Nice day for a cruise, by the way.

Then at about 4 p.m. I saw a 22' Cruiser with a single Yamaha heading west from Coulon Beach along Rainier Avenue. Oh, yeah, and both of you were wearing smiles.

Catman-That was us, Dotty and me. We were heading back from a leisurely cruise up to Kirkland. It was a nice day to be at the park too,

The following ad is in the April 5 issue of the Skagit Valley Herald:
1993 C-Dory Angler 16',
fully equipped for fishing'
lots of extras, must sell
$8000
360-856-2233

I thought that might have been you, Marty. I just didn't remember the flag on your cabin top. Still, I'm sure you're comforted to know you're being watched. In fact, I'm watching you right now.

A week or so ago saw a 22' crusier on SR 202 going through Monroe. Craned our necks to read the name, it was True Story, no sign of Tim or Pam though...

Yesterday we departed for a quick 24 hour trip for a night at a condominium on the beach at Ocean Shores, Wa. Today as we were driving home past Ft. Lewis on I-5, I spotted a 22' C-Dory in a parking/storage lot on the Ft. Lewis reservation. I would have gotten a better look at it, but Carol and Jessica were yelling at me to watch where I was driving and to quit looking at C-Dory's as I'm driving past at 70 MPH.
(sheesh.....you'd think they'd understand my fixation with C-Dorys by now...........go figure?). :smilep

Hey you guys, watch those postal jokes. After all I retired from the Postal Service a year ago and I'm still normal. (OK no cracks now)
Does anyone know who owns the C-Dory at Lake Chelan?

Pat
The Amigo

Gee,

Saw a 22 named Amigo at the twin bridges

Dusty

I'm guessing that's the 3rd C-Dory domiciled at Twin Bridges. Soon they'll be having "C-Dory Gatherings" there on a daily basis. Hmmm, I wonder if .....after they turn the lights out on that fantastic indoor/heated storage facility if the C-Dory Boats talk as much about their owners as the C-Dory Owners talk about their C-Dorys? :wink
