Hello everybody, new member here.

I am thinking of getting a c-dory in the next year or so, and was wondering if you guys can help me out. I need to know the lengths of the different models from the tip of the trailer tongue to the engines when up. I plan on towing my c-dory with my motorhome, and would like to know what models I need to rule out.
Also any other general advice is appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Clay

Part of it depends on what trailer you have. Different trailers have different tongue lengths. You can also get "long tongue" trailers. I bought a RIB once, and the RIB dealer said to make sure I got a long tongue trailer for it.

C Dory 25: Loadrite trailer, GVWR of 9970#, Carrying capacity 8400#. is min of 32' (motor all of the way down, and no Permatrim. My boat with the Permatrim and slightly up, is about 33', if you had the motor all of the way up (not necessary), it would be about 34'. My recollection is that the Tom Cat on the Float on, is 35 to 37 feet. The 22 generally comes in close to 27 to 30 feet, depending on trailer.

For the smaller boats, you can get a folding tongue, but I would be leary of a folding tongue on a trailer more than 5000#, unless it was welded on--then you can go up to 9,000#
