C-Dory info

The hive here likely includes someone who can help.

A lot of the stainless seems to be sourced from Sea Dog, the doors and windows from Diamond Sea Glaze ($$$$), galley sinks and shower faucets Scandvik, dome lights from Perko, electrical from Blue Seas, Yamaha engines quite often from Yamaha, etc.

What parts are you interested in?

Congrats on your first post. I couldn’t get it right until my 200th or so.

Query On!

Greg, you have tapped the top of the list for resources. Kind of goes like this:

1. Internet
2. C-BRATS
3. Internet
4. What the C-BRATS say
5. Internet for ordering

If you need more specific information, then you need to let us (C-BRATS) know what specific parts you are looking for. Somebody here as already ordered those parts. (I would stake my port Yami 40 on that - - - and that is big because nearly everybody here knows I'm a twins guy.

And by the way, Welcome to the C-BRATS community. Come on in and enjoy.

Often "replacement" parts are upgrades. I have upgraded every C Dory I have owned. For example lights: Go to all LED. Hatch covers: go to ones which don't leak. However, if you need a new swim step--at times you can oder one--or you can buy a replacement part cheaper than from the factory. If you want a new boarding ladder, get a 4 step rather than the 2 step from the factory.

Stoves, and refrigerators, are standard items, and these have their own parts supply or replacement.

Never been a problem. What is made in fiberglass or wood, man can replace!

Thanks for all the replies !

Fold down or breakaway anchor light.
Front hatch cover replacement handle parts.
Swim platform ladder upgrade.

I’ve tried contacting c-dory several times about a swim step and ladder with no response. Have you had luck ordering one from somewhere else? Really need one for our 25 cruiser. Had to use the dingy Saturday and the oar lock came apart and the oar blade twisted it was like disabled rowing! While another boat with a swim step just shore tied and used an anchor buddy and got off!

At times in the past the factory has made special order swim steps. They may or many not currently. Call them==be patient. On one of my boats I put an after market swim step--cheaper--didn't look quite as well.
