This certainly must be the same one from California that had the flybridge removed and was refurbished, no? In 2005 I was in the factory a lot, and this is NOT a standard production model! This is certainly a fishing boat, not a cruiser! The pix are very interesting!

I am curious and plan to contact the factory. I liked the usability
Why do some CD use a transom bracket?
Pat- Amen, same one. Even down to the "Roof Ladder" to nowhere:
Brent-
The transom bracket allows the much easier installation of a large outboard rather than an I/O outdrive and an inboard engine. It also adds a bit of length to the overall package and makes the boat perform as though the hull is somewhat longer. Additionally, it saves room inside the cockpit and cockpit floor for fishboxes, tanks, and other equipment and, at the same time, keeps the floor level on these smaller boats.
I kinda thought the boat had been sold as new once, but maybe not. Still has a 2003 model "new" motor, though...... (or ios this an older listing that's still on line or archived somewhere?)
Was listed for $69,000 at Gunther's way back when....seemed list a lot of money then, but with $115k CD-25's, $145K TC-225's and the new CR-25 topping out at over $150+k, looks like an inexpensive one of a kind that will be an instant classic if you're sure it'll fit your needs. (These prices are off the top of my head guesstimates, could be off a few 5-10 k$, or so, corrective admonission letters gratituously accepted.)
And Pat's right about it beening a dedicated fishing boat....where's the enclosed head and shower? Looks like a great dedicated charter fishing boat---but no commercial takers....???
Better check with the ADMIRAL on the feminine ammenities situation before you ask her to write the check(!!!)
Good Luck! Could be an interesting find. Please let us know how the SEA TRIAL goes and how she performs compared to the rest of the C-Dory line.
Joe.
