C-Brats in Proptalk Magazine

Brats,
Proptalk magazine (go to proptalk.com click on read current issue on the top left), has an article about a recent cruise in this months publication. Art of SEA ANGEL contacted the magazine and got the publisher interested in putting together an article. Bob (SKIMMER's co-pilot) wrote a great summery of the trip, but it did not make the press... I hope that Bob will share this with all of us following my posting.
This article was not supposed to be about me, but my names shows up often in the article. I did not get to read the publishers article before it was published, so I want to apologize up front that this was to be about all of us that travel with the Brats on various trips.
Best regards,
Steve Baum

Hi Steve,

Thanks for letting us know about the article. It's a nice summary of the benefits of joining C-Brats. I look forward to participating in one of the cruises at some point in the future.

Just was notified of an update on this post. When I downloaded the article it came up as page 19-not page 33 in case anyone else finds the same thing.

The link I posted still shows page 33 as the C Brat article--page 19 is the continuation of the calendar. Maybe you have a different link?

I have the print version and it is on page 33. I picked up PropTalk during our marina shopping expedition, and was paging through it when I suddenly came upon our picture. What a surprise! Good job, guys!
That was a wonderful trip - thanks Steve for organizing and leading the way. We have now moved to Maryland, and we are hoping to see some of the nice folks we met on that James River cruise again! I hope there is another Chesapeake Bay C-Dory Rendezvous next summer where we can reunite!
We will be keeping our boat either on the Magothy, the Severn, or Bodkin Creek. If any of you local C-Brats have any tips for us, we would welcome your input. It's all new territory for us. But we are very excited about the area - so many places to explore!

Thanks to all, That was a great Article we all had a great time on the James, with good Boating Friends. Steve there is no apology needed. Jim

Steve,
Thanks for the post and thanks to Joan for the great shot of Skimmer. I had forgotten that the article might show up in Prop Talk, and was just casually thumbing through the issue when, "Hey - that boat looks familiar!" Pretty exciting.

Let's do the James again next year.
