C-Brat Logo?

While reading through the most recent posts, I noticed a C-Brat logo (see Larry H message on “How long with no bottom paint”).

We are planning a C-Dory gathering here in Guttenberg, Iowa (on the Mississippi River) next September (2010).

In the planning, a unique logo would be designed for the event.

Since being new at this, I am unaware of any C-Brat logos (official or unofficial), is there any?

I would appreciate seeing any/all other (C-Bray/C-Dory) logos that have been used for previous gatherings or events.

Any assistance appreciated.

Look at the upper left corner of this page. Yeah, with the 16 in the circle. You should ask permission from Bill or Mike before using it, though.

Ron,

The C-Brat logo shown in my post is the first C-Brat logo. It was created by my daughter, and I own the design.

The logo is shown in the 'Nancy H' photo album.

Any C-Brat can use my logo for their own non-commercial use.

You can copy the file and save on your computer. The original was about 7-8 inches long, and was available as a vinyl stick-on decal.

Our logo policy is pretty simple. The official C-Brat logo is free to use for any personal, non-commercial use.

If you're doing something for yourself, boat, crew or family, there's no need to ask - just use it.

When used for merchandise at events and gatherings, we'd appreciate being asked ahead of time. We've never turned down a request. All we ask, is that no profit be realized for any merchandise being sold - actual cost of items can certainly be recouped.

I've official C-Brat logo artwork available, in virtually any format needed, and in a couple color schemes. While you can certainly grab the logo from the web page, this is typically not ideal - merchandise manufacturers typically want things in vector format for best results, i.e. Illustrator or SVG. These formats allow you to have a perfect logo, be the finished size tiny or huge. These formats also allow designers to more easily incorporate our official logo into something custom, i.e. an event specific graphic for a C-Brat gathering.

Ron - RE the event in question, feel free to use the logo, and drop me a PM if you are interested in the artwork mentioned above.

Good thing these other guys are helping you out because I can't even spell SVG.

Hell Tyboo, try to pronounce "SVG"..... ...I sure can't! ...and I'm not even going to try to look it up in the dictionary, because I doubt that any dictionary I own has it as an entry so I don't even know what it means!
