Sherryl and myself are in Glendale AZ for the BCS Championship game. We have our duck hunting stamps and look forward to the game this aftetrnoon/evening. We have enjoyed a nice trip this week and taken in the Grand Canyon, the Meteor Crater, a drive thru Sedona area.... all making for a great trip. We went thru here in 2003 when driving west to east when we bought Dusty's TC24. It killed us to be so close to all of this on I-40 and just drive thru but we had to at the time. This trip however we have enjoyed almost a full week in the area with tonights BCS game being the biggy and the reason for the trip. Thanks for the call from my fellow Ducks from OR yesterday....and look forward to seeing yall when ya get to the east side for the Great Loop.

Any more C-Brats in town for the game???

We were in that area for nearly 2 months, but are now off in Nevada (go ahead, say it: "You'd be off no matter where you are."). Don't know if you noticed, but they don't have a lot of water there... although Lake Pleasant does look pretty pleasant. :wink:

man that town has to be just electric, what a hoot....to bad your duck hunting trip will just leave you eating crow :)
 
I'm a Washington Husky, through and through, and it amazes me how strong my allegiance is to my school. So strong in fact that despite the Pacific NW and Pac10 connection we share with Oregon, I could NEVER root for the Ducks!!! Not that I'm rooting for Auburn either. I just can't ever root for the Ducks, Beavers and especially the Cougars.

It really looks like a game between Nike and Under Armour. I think the Oregon helmets give them the edge. Cool.

AWESOME!! Looking for the best sauces for fresh duck... A quick taste last night made me realise it does not taste like chicken, and after our Bama come back game this year......it is very similar to elephant....but with a few feathers to pluck!!!!

Today I can say it was worth the price of the tickets....

Seeing the Grand Canyon, the Sedona drive..... and one heck of a duck roast in a single trip........PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well,..... Now that the Ducks are down and the SeaHawks just got cooked too.... I guess it is time to look forward to the C-Brat gathering around the Seatle Boat Show...
