Bought me a pre-loved 22 C-Dory Angler. More on it later as I have not seen it yet. Yep...More C-Brat family trust as SENSEI peforrmed pre purchase viewing and will pick it up till I get back to the NW in a couple weeks.
May, put C-Byrd on the market, the last 18' Angler the Tolands built, and I restored a few years back. More on both later...

Thanks Roger and James

I won't say "Welcome Back" because you never left. Congratulations on the "new" C Dory 22. Maybe we will meet up on our Cumberland/ Tennessee River trip in Sept! Hopefully. Hope to see you on the River!

Was this the one that just sold in Woodinville? When we called about this boat the seller said they had someone coming to look at it. Seller later informed us it was sold and said a family member of the buyer had come to check it out and make the purchase. I assume this must be you?

Yes, you are correct.
Byrd rode in my 22 angler a couple of shrimp trips and decided that it was much better than his 18 out in area 6 where we shrimp.
I looked it over and called Byrd and told him my evaluation and then handed the phone to the owner and they talked and made the deal.

Ah, congrats! You beat me to it... looked like a great boat at an attractive price. Will be interesting to see how it works out for Byrd.

Man, I love that teamwork. Good job, Roger, and congratulations to you, Byrdman. You'll have a blast in your 22' Angler, and soon there'll be a happy new 18' owner.

Welcome back, Byrdman. Have always enjoyed reading your posts and tales of adventure.

PS - Does anyone know whatever happened to Red Fox? I think he lived in Alaska.

Good to see the PNW Brat list expanding and good to have you back in the active fold Patrick. You guys make a great team.

CaptMac, I did enjoy Greg's sense of humor from time to time and his boat was a work of art, but I think he became a little too politically incorrect for the forum and can no longer comment. He is listed as a "Guest".

Regards,

Rob

I know he is still in AK, SE somewhere I believe. He was here for a while last winter, but have not seen him since. He definitely thought out of the box and was quite a metal craftsman.

I forget the thread Red Fox last commented in, but it went beyond reasonable on his posts, and I think the Moderators held off about as long as they could before they finally and likely wisely, silenced him. The just be nice limit was really pushed...
