Buying 19' C-dory

Hello everybody,
I finally have found a boat I am thinking of buying. Will be doing a sea trial Dec. 26th. It is a 2008 19' C-Cory, has a EZ loader trailer, a 2008 90hp Honda 4-stroke fuel injected and a 2008 9.9 Honda kicker. 42 hours on boat and motors. Very clean. It is a bare boat. No electronics, no washdown, nothing but kind of like it that way as I have a clean slate to work with. It does have elec. wipers both sides, trim tabs and a dole fin (spelling?) on the 90. I can get it for $22,000. Seems like a really good price to me. What do you all think.

Not many 19's available because there have not been that many built in the history of C-Dory, which means that finding used ones on the market is not frequent.
 
Here's a pie chart I made a year or two ago showing the distribution of different boat types amongst the membership here. It give you a sense of the relative proportion of different boats.

Very interesting pie chart, Roger! Who knew there is a larger proportion of 19s than TomCats? You may have to add one more little slice for the 27s. Hmmm, now I'm in the mood for some apple pie. :wink:

Does the pie chart show the venture 23 c-dory count with the cape cruiser's venture 23"s also ? Also I wonder how many 26's are out there ? 1.8 % not bad for the venture's . So the 22's and 25's make up 73% of all c-dory's Interesting facts .

Possibly. There are no boats listed as Cape Cruiser Venture 23's so I suspect that option is not available in the pick list for boat model. If so, then I'd also suspect that 23' Cape Cruiser owners would pick the closest model of the Venture 23 (which is made from the original Cape Cruiser molds).

As of today, I count 15 listed as 26 Ventures but 4 of those are listed with dates prior to when the 26 Ventures were made. So it's not 100% accurate when I draw this data from information provided by the members.
