Used to have a flip phone 6 months ago. My nephew and I work together masonry,he lost his Samsung 5 . After paying for a new phone at Verizon,fate stepped in ,a guy walks in and returns his lost phone from 2 weeks earlier.So he gives me the new phone,said all his contacts were in his old phone now im glad I have it. Today I borrowed his Bose speaker and connected it to phone via Bluetooth. If you have never heard music from this speaker its really great , phone can be 30ft away. Cant believe the sound from that small speaker. If your interested believe me its a nice unit. Its only small size of a small radio,just thought would share incase someone is interested.
 
I too bought a Bose speaker for our last boat. Great addition, can be carried anywhere 7 hours of battery juice for times away from dock, can also be charged via usb port! It really fills up the space with some nice rich sound.
 
I agree,after listening to nephews im sold on it cant believe the great sound. We have a 2.25 hr ride to boat. Sketchy radio service thru mountains,listen to Pandora Iheart or spotify,makes the drive better.But phone micro phone isn't loud enough,so this will work well.
 
I haven't tried or compared the Bose speaker, and I am sure it is excellent quality. In our boat we run Sirius much of the time--and I find that the sound from a Jambo Jawbone is more than adequate to give us good sound (that is wired connection), and since this speaker is charged with a USB port, there is minimal current draw on the boats battery systems--vs our built in stereo system. I suspect that the Bose would serve in the same fashion.
 
Just picked up the bose speaker today,it charges from usb also. Nice that you can take it anywhere your phone goes.Girl that waited on us at Verizon teaches zumba she uses same speaker for her classes,wife made friends with her and is going to attend her class,funny how things happen.
 
Have enjoyed the Bose speaker too, but they are pricey and battery replacement done at factory, so could be real expensive. Marc's unit looks like it could be a bargain,but haven't heard one. Batt life and battery replacement is a big factor on these.
 
That also looks like a good speaker. Found a decent place to get songs from app called spotify. Also google play music was suggested to me,havnt down loaded that one yet. Going on boat for afew days ,loading favorite music.
