Has anyone used "Bondic"? This is a liquid plastic, which is activated to harden with an LED UV light. Sounds as if it may fill some of the gaps...OK a pun.. of our adhesives, filler, since it seems to work well with many of the plastics we use. I have had an issue with MAC power cords, and the cover eventually breaking down. I have several layers of shrink adhesive tubing--but one commercial for Bondic, show that product repairing the flexible jacket of a MAC power supply.

Apparently it has been around for about a year, but I just saw a commercial today.

Sounds like something a dentist uses to fix a chipped tooth.

Whoever came up with naming the stuff 'Bondic' could have
been the genius who named the Chevy 'Nova'. Wonder why
it never sold well in Europe?

Aye.

I thought the same thing, Foggy. IIRC, a similar UV activated resin has been in use for over 20 years to bond ceramics to teeth. I believe I have one of those, going on 15 years now, in my toothy mouth equipment.
