Did any of you get this today? The cover image says "Finalist: BoatUS Photo Contest - Harvey Hochstetter met up with a fellow C-Dory owner while boating around the north end of Vancouver Island."

Good lord! How cool is that? Very. That's a national magazine that features boats and people from all over America. My goodness, what a coup. Big high five to you, Harvey. And Andy, Osprey sure looks good.
 
Dang, my copy has "Super Moon over South Carolina Marina". They must have regional winners? I like the C-Dory cover way better!

My copy has "supermoon". I need a copy with 'Osprey" on the cover. It looks much better to me. Lew

My copy has a sailboat flying a spinnaker at sunset... The other winning photos on page 50 did not have the C-Dory either...
 
Mine has "super moon" Lake Keowee, S. Carolina. This is labeled as a "Finalist". Harvey's photo is on page 57 right hand side, second up from bottom, and mentioned as "Finalist"-- All 4 in this column were "Cover shots". Definitely is regional.

Nope that is the same as mine--"Super moon" even if it looks like a sunset.

Bob, if it's 'definitely regional' should we be wondering just how many regions Pensacola has been carved up into? Will I get in trouble again for ending a sentance with a preposition?

I think it's much more likely that they are trying to mess with our minds. Where did I put my tinfoil hat?

Well thank you all for the kudos. It was a really fun trip, and I got several good pix out of the trip, but all of them of Andy's boat, so I submitted a couple of them. He probably got tired of me telling him where I wanted his boat, but he sure was a good sport about it.

Here's the weird part. BoatUS sent me an envelope with 4 copies of the Ospry cover, and then when my subscription magazine came it had the "Super Moon" pix on it. Go Figure. Looking at the article, and the "Cover" picks they chose, I like the Super Moon. The one they picked for a winner, I will have to see to appreciate as that little thumbnail in the article looks like it leaves some to be desired, but that's just my opinion.

Thanks again, and sure glad we did that trip together.
