If you can get a copy of the new Boat US magazine you'll see a C Dory on the cover in Lake Powell and a great write up on Bill and El and thier cruising. Very nicely done, George

I know I am biased, but as I looked at the pictures it came back to me one of the reasons why I love the CD 22. I think the little critter is the nicest looking, well proportioned boat there is. I loved the article and thanks for sharing.

A Great article - Brent thanks for posting the link.

I guess the next time I see Bill & El, I'll have to get out the Premium "boxed wine" since we'll be in the presence of such famous boaters!

Great folks, and a real credit to the C-Dory/C-Brat Family.

We often use the "Chateau La Box", lots of brands out now, very tasty and easy to store!

I think Bill and El are up in the Broughtons right now with Pat and Patty Anderson and others! Actually, Daydream, Halcyon, C-Dancer, and Knotty C to be exact! I sure wish we were there, going to be over 100deg for the next few days!

I'm the one that got one of the old engines he mentioned. I used the lower unit (it had a blown powerhead) and sent the carbs/manifold to a Brat in Alaska! Sent the starter somewhere else, don't remember!!

Ah, "donor transplant" so that others can live a better life.

I think you have the Brats who are with Bill and El misplaced a bit north - according to Pat's most recent post, they are in the San Juans. Consider meeting us out there next summer, Charlie, and we can check out the different places. :D

Congrats to Bill and El, again highlighting the C-Dory lifestyle. They have been an inspiration to many of us. :thup

Best wishes,
Jim

Charlie,

Go to the upper left corner and stay in the blue stuff. It's all good from there. :hot :rainbow

I think a lot of us C-Brats have that wunderlust of Bill and El's but either through Jobs or Family matters keep some of us from keeping that Dream. I would read their adventure's and want to be right along with them . Having met them at a Seattle boat show years ago Nice couple . I think many of us have bought our C-Dory's because of them .

Wow!

Our favorite, well-traveled C-Dory ambassadors have struck yet again!

I bet that this article will do more for brand recognition than any other due to its circulation. Next month we're cruising the Canadian shore of Lake Erie for ten days and I'm sure that the article will be mentioned by fellow cruisers and fishermen more than once.

Looking forward to getting our copy in the mail.

Good article about good people. I have learned a lot from El and Bill and their writings. I only met them one time on the Erie Canal, but the meeting confirmed that they are special people. I have downsized our life and it is all for the better. Pat and I decided that the C-Dory was for us after reading El and Bill's posts on this site.

I printed-out the article, put it in page protector's, and it's now part of my C-Dory information ring binder aboard "Katmai."

Great article.

Just got my copy in the mail today.
question is--- Who's boat is on the front cover?
Looks like Chris's Rana Verde.
Good article.

We just received our copy in the mail today also. Great article and fabulous PR for C-Dory and the C-Brats site. It would be interesting to hear the results of a survey when folks first join the site if they were asked the question how they "found" the C-Brat site. Same questions could be asked and recorded when folks purchase new C-Dorys.

Earlier in the week, we were talking with a gal who stated that they keep their 30 something foot boat in the water in Kenmore. When she asked and I told her we had a C-Dory, she said, "my husband loves C-Dorys".

Charlie, we would be delighted to introduce you to all the best spots here on the Upper Left Coast, and I am counting on you to reciprocate when we finally get retired and can make it back down your way again!

We are down to three boats in our little group here at Chuckanut Bay, Halcyon, Nama Bickie and Daydream. Daydream and Nama Bickie pull out today, Halcyon is picking up their son and grandchildren for some more cruising.
