Geeze...no Brat site for more than a whole day! What are we to do? We have no life! :lol:

Staring at the monitor every half hour...hoping for signs of life. Woe were we!

Glad to see the site back up and runnig again. Thanks to whoever got her going.

oh man, I was hoping that nothing was wrong, good thing...

I couldn't do much, was wondering what I were to do if I had no c-brats to look at :roll:

Well... I was forced into cleaning out a footlocker of old boat books, magazines and articles.

I missed my site very much.... I wonder if I am the only one who sits here at times in folks travel photo albums, puts it on large size, 5 to 10 second frame swap....depending if I want to ponder for a spell on each photo or just review them.... and take those magical C-Dory virtual trips.

I was reading last night about some of the "gatherings & cruises" that a few Trawler Boat manufactures sponsor.... Great article in this months Soundings Magazine. For sure we do these things in our boats too.

No, you're not the only one!

Suggestion:

We all depend on this site being available regularly. On the other hand, the moderators should not feel guilty if they take a few days off and problems arise. (Well, maybe they should feel a little guilty . . . ) We may have missed our daily (hourly?) fix, but other than wondering what was happening this was no big deal.

It could be a real problem, however, for a gathering a few days away.

Maybe it would be a good idea for the organizers for a pending gathering (or maybe an ad hoc communications chairperson) to store a short-term participant e-mail list separate from the C-Dory site. Then if the site goes down the moderators can be confident that life goes on until it can be fixed.

And yes, once again, thanks for making this site available for the rest of us!

I went to the C-Brats site, and nothing came up. What am I going to do. I felt that my best friend ( I think I have at least one. ) had died. Now you are back. Life has returned.

All we really need is for someone to register www.c-brats.info on a different server/provider and let TyBoo have the ability to modify the index file so he can tell us what we already suspect; the site is down, dunno why, Da Nerd is doing his best, email TyBoo@c-brats.info for details or just email TyBoo because he's lonely.
