Battrie location in the 2007 tomcat

I have my batteries inside the house. Which requires sealed batteries. My house batteries, four 6 Volt golf cart batteries, are in the hanging locker. My start batteries are behind the Refer. If you don't want sealed batteries the start batteries can be located in the compartment aft, one on each side. A problem with that is if you have to service the pumps or the electrical connections the battery has to be removed.

I placed my AGM house battery and 40 watt Pronautic charger behind the two drawers that are under the rear galley seat. It's dead space that is easy to access by lifting the seat cushion and/or pulling the drawers. In this position I was able to use the factory wiring and use short lengths of cabling (See my C-Lark Wine album)

My AGM start batteries are in the rear cockpit compartments forward of each outboard.
 
Originally the batteries were accessed from each side by the vertical lazarett hatches. I added several batteries inside my Tom Cat--behind the water heater (AGM for the inverter).
