Aurora activity high tonight

Sun is riled up and an electronic storm is predicted to cause active auroral displays tonight in northern latitudes.

Prediction for Seattle area: low on the northern horizon tonight. Enjoy!!
 
We just got back from an overnight, El & Bill, and saw them about 12:30 AM. They were fairly faint, however, and may have been somewhat drowned out by the nearly full moon, which BTW was beautiful in it's own right. A beautiful, calm, cool night on Rainy Lake supplemented by the occasional call of a loon.
