Attention TomCat owners!

Tom Cat owners I need your help. I live in Louisville, Ky. and am very interested in a Tom Cat 255. The problem is no one has one in stock and the new owners, Northwest Marine Industries, have no plans to have one at any boat shows in the near future. Is there anyone close to me who would be willing to let me come and see/sea trial a recent Tom Cat 255? It's just really impossible to make a final decision with out the benefit of being able to get on the boat and have a sea trial. The Internet can only accomplish so much. I've just got to go see the real boat. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me and unless you're from Michigan, cheer us on in the big game tonight!
Thanks,
Chris Foster

Your best bet is to look at the C Brat map(See the header above)--and you will find that there is a Tom Cat fairly close to you. I would send that owner a PM and ask if you could take a ride. We are really an extended family, and I am sure that you will get an invite.

Definately do a Sea Trial. We did two befoe purchasing our Tom Cat 255. (We also rode in a Tom Cat 24)...

Welcome aboard and good luck--the Tom Cat is a great boat!

Thanks Bob,
I will go to the map and check it out. I was hoping also that maybe someone who isn't on the map would read this as well.

If you want to come to the East Coast this summer (after early June), we'd be glad to give you a ride in Bob's old boat, THATAWAY! We'll be in Maine until then.

Charlie,
Thank you for your offer. I may take you up on that and I'll let you know in June. I'm a little surprised you won't be in Maine during the summer. Again thanks for the offer.

We are in a similar situation. I really like the Tom Cat but being located in Fort Worth Texas it has been difficult to find a TC to look at. The only dealer I have had success in talking to is Wefrings in Florida.

The feeling from searching the web for the last year is that there is a lot of interest in these boats. Seems like the manufactor is missing out on a lot of opportunities. \

Half Share, I wish you were in Seattle as I am making ready to offer a 1/2 share ownership in my boat. The boat is a 24 Tomcat.

Chris, we'd love to stay there for the summer but that's rental season and that pays the taxes and insurance on the house! Not to mention that summer is the best boating season down here!

Mitch,
Let's stay in touch and see if we can't figure out some way to see one. I too have been working with Marc and he is really a great guy. I know we'll get something worked out.
