Anyone here own 3 C-Dorys?

Some sailing friends of ours are cruising in the Northeast right now. There was a CD-25 anchored near them, so they dinghied over to visit with them and see if they knew the Wild Blue crew (non-C-Dory folks think we all know each other :wink:). Nope, but they found out the guy had three C-Dorys: a 25, a 22, and a 16. Now, that's covering your bases! :mrgreen:

And I thought we were dedicated C-Dory owners.

Jim I've had 2 at one time a cd-22 cruiser and a 23 Cape cruiser for about 3 months . Loree was after me to sell and we did by advertising on c-brat site .What a Great site .I've thought about a 16 but the Admiral has nixed that idea .Maybe if we win the Lottery then a tomcat and 16 or Ranger 27 and a 22 .( Dreamin i'm always Dreamin ) I think there is a song like that .
 
I've had 3, a 22 a 16 and now have a TC. The TC and the 16 overlapped. I'm guessing if my current TC doesn't sell within the next 3 weeks, it will overlap with my "new to me" TC "THATAWAY".

Is 2 TC's at the same time a record??? :disgust

I have had two c-dorys ,a 22 and a 27, at once but not three.

At one time I had a 19 starcraft a 22 c dory a 16 drift boat, a 18 drift boat , a inflatable kayak and a aluminum canoe all in the back yard. Drove Susan nuts. Hell right now I have the 27, 2 kayaks, a inflatable kayak, two rafts (sold the third one last week) and I just got my dads whaler out of the back yard.

Heck, I have to have a special yard out behind our garage/shop/apartment for all the empty trailers!! :wink:

Actually, one of them has a Bolger Bobcat sailboat on it right now, the rest are either cargo/tractor trailers or empty boat trailers (which is a good thing because it means the boats are in the water or on the lift... :thup

Congrats, Charlie! I saw where Dr. Bob posted that the boat sale is pending... couldn't go to a better home! I would surmise that having 2 TCs, both the same year, IS a new record. I'm all for having a back-up plan, but you may be taking that notion to new heights. :wink:

Maybe I missed this news somewhere along the way, but it really is nice to know that THATAWAY will be staying in the family. :thup

Nope, as I told someone else in a PM, can't be something I wasn't. I was a Captain and threatened with "Admiral" but Captain's and actually Commanders had a lot more fun so I retired. Never regretted it, have supported the Navy as a civilian ever since.

Now If I'd never been IN the Navy, I could be a Commodore (an honorary title) but that just doesn't appeal for some reason!!

Thanks though, if that was a compliment, sounded like it! :lol:

I didn't actually own three at the same time but in the space of four months I had a 16 a 22 and then the tomcat. Don't ask 'cause the story is too long and involves c-dory fever.
