Susan and I are sorry to hear Dr. Bob's news - we plan to be in Marathon this upcoming week and hoped to finally introduce ourselves. Are any other Brats visiting the Keys Feb 5 - 8th? We would like to say hello and share our enthusiasm for the C-Dory world!

Sincerely,

Pete

Hi Pete....There were a few others scheduled to be down there around that time frame though I can't recall who. They sure won't be hard to spot. We just did two weeks down there over Christmas and New Years. For sharing your enthusiasm, the upcoming St.John's get together is February 17- March 1. I count 25 registered boats and it is on your way back up north :)

Thanks James! Wish I could see you all at St. Johns - we are travelling without the boat this time and must be getting back before then anyway... :(

We hit St. Augustine January 28th on our way down from Pa. about 1400 miles. We stayed in a very nice campground called North Beach Campground just outside of St. Augustine on the north side for about three days. We drank from the fountain of youth, but still too cold there. We will be in Marathon at the Black Fin Marina till Feb 28th. We will probably take spin down to Key West to do some fishing out around Sand Key by way of the inter coastal for couple days. Then we will return to Marathon. The Black Fin is at 47th street right hand side going south. Temps here have been in the mid seventies during the day to a 65 at night. The water temps have been in the low seventies. No snow. Send me a pm if you want to get together while you are in the area. If you are coming down through Key Largo stop at Evelyn's for a seafood burrito they are the bomb. They are on the right side if you are headed south great food reasonable.

We arrived in the Keys last week and plan to stay till April. Not totally sure of the cruising destinations yet. Just too many possibilities.

Hello Sea Wings, We're planning to be in the Key Largo /Islamorada (anchoring out) for a couple of weeks in Feb. We'll be cruising down from home (Stuart) as we haven't gotten around to buying our trailer yet. I would love to know all the details of yours. (Weight capacity, brake details, brand, approx. cost, source, etc) I am looking at a 7500# cap SeaTech out of Miami with 4 wheel Kodiak elec over hydraulic disks for about $4300. I'm planning on towing with my Ford Expedition (8950 lbs tow) so I was interested in your pics of your rig. Looks great. If you need help near Stuart, give me a holler. Thanks, Bob

Grace Full is at Banana Bay in Marathon until May 1. We would love to see any other C-Dory. We do docktails around 5pm. So stop and say hi.
