Adhesive to secure bilge pump basket to floor ?

I have used G flex epoxy from West Systems, and 5200, even though it is not recommended for plastics. I use hot glue to hold any item in place until the epoxy sets up. Life seal from boat life is good to use for screwed in bedding of plastics. But I would not use it as the "only" form of "adhesive".

I also used goop about 8 years ago on mine. Its kinda a cross between calk and contact cement and will hold well to almost any surface. Its available at most hardware stores in the glue section.

I replaced my Midship bilge several years ago, and put it in with a double sided tape. It came loose, so last year I replaced that tape with Gorilla Brand double stick. It is still holding. I am planning on replacing my aft one with the same this year, to avoid the screws in to the Fiber Glass or gel coat.

Gorilla has been holding well in the places I have used it with one exception, and that was disturbed by side tension.

That's a given, still have window glued together with 5200 on my 100 plus year old bunkhouse since 1990.
