A Return to a State of C-Bratiness

Hi Brats,
Captain Jane and I are proud to announce the arrival of our new 1999 CD16 cruiser, Luna. I picked her up from Ryan at Sportcraft in Portland, and towed her home (Seattle, at least for a while) in time for our anniversary. She has kept company in the Sportcraft yard with dotnmarty's CD16 angler.
For two years now, we have been a CD-free zone after we sold NoddyBleu. Well, our ordeal is over. Let the good times sail.
We decided to name her Luna in celebration of the life that young Orca well known to west coast boaters a few years ago. And, no, we did not even think about names such as Luna-C or Luna-Tic, so please be kind and don't ask.
A Mr. Heater "Buddy" keeps the cabin toasty, so the fun can begin. I am off to the driveway to mount a compass.
Cheers,
Rod and Captain Jane

Rod and Captain Jane,

Welcome back to the state of C-Brattiness. We all know it was shear lunacy to sell the C-Dory in the first place but everyone has to do what they have to do, right?

BTW, I thought there was probably a typo in the boat name -- What No "C"

Glad to have you back aboard and hope to get to cross wakes at some time.

Wow! Congratulations on the purchase of that beautiful boat. Hopefully Luna and Lizzie can have a playdate on Lake Washington sometime this summer. Who knows, maybe we will have another 16 footer CBGT down at Coulon Park. I trust you found Ryan at Sportcraft to be a consumate professional and a pleasure to work with, as we did. See you on the water.

Congrats on Luna ! For what it's worth, I had a 93 16CDC back in the 90's, sold it in Seattle area in I think it was 1997or8. Salty-C.

Obviously I'm here... the fever gets in the blood. Been getting some good insight and maybe one of these better years will have another, although I have my sights on the 255TC so it's gonna take a good bus. year (or two), I still love the 16's.

Got pics?

Welcome back Jane and Rod. A 16ft'er "play date", Marty you make me laugh.

A bit of C-Brat (C-Dog) history !!!!!!!!

The first fatefull gathering of C-Dories began with a comment on C-Dog from one of our elusive members, asking if there were any other 16's out there that would like to get together somewhere in Puget Sound. They decided on Langley as the destination and the rest is history .....lol.....

thats great news Rod

hope to see the new c-dory in and around the gulf islands
there's a nice picture of the noddy bleu with mt baker in the background
