It takes a helluva offter to Val and I to give up a day on th boat, BUT,,this Saturday "Ill Have Another" will be trying to win the triple crown at Belmont Park.One way or another, an historic event will be witnessed in person by Val and Myself and About 120,000 of our closest friends. There has not been a corronation since 1978, and we race fans can taste it! Even at the short odds of 4 to 5*, I will make a substancial sporting wager on the favorite to win the glory. Longshot "Optimizer" trained by D Wayne Lukas has a outside chance for an upset, so maybe a single exacta wager with I'll Have Another on top of Optimizer...

I'll have another" is scratched because of a leg injury (Tendonitis)--not serious, but no triple crown.

How about Union Rags?
 
Tendonitis and he gets "retired". Nothing but all the oats he can eat, fresh Kentucky bluegrass to run on and lots and lots of female "companionship". I should be so lucky! :lol:

I'm guessing the Admiral will give you all the oats and fresh Kentucky bluegrass NOW.....but not the female companionship that should stray into the pasture now or in the future.
 
Val (The Admiral) was the Belle of Belmont Park Yesterday. She made a two race-25$ win parlay with "Mia Poppy in the 5th race and "Union Rages" in the feature. Both crossed the finish line first and her ticket returned over 600$,
the rest of the crew was green with envy, but I am very proud and happy for her!
