I need to know the value of my C-Dory 29' Venture. It is in excellent shape. I have not found any others to compare this boat to, so finding a value is hard. Any help would be appreciated.

More info may help in identifying your boat to begin to be able to give a value. I wasn't aware that they made a 29' Venture. I thought that 26' was the largest Venture. Anyway more info would be helpful, such as year, electronics package, trailer, canvas, etc, etc.

2008 29 Venture in great shape
2008 Easy Loader Trailer
260 hp Yanmar Diesel 800hrs
Cummins Generator
Heat/ AC
Stern and bow thrusters
Lawrence HDS Gen 2 touch

Trailer is in excellent shape, all new tires, brakes and services bearings

Much more, Just trying to find actual value.

I am going to sell my C-Dory 25 soon.

Hi-

I used to have a 22 foot c-dory that I liked very much. I have moved on to a different boat at this time. My buddy, however is looking at a 29 C-Dory Venture and has asked my advice. I don't know the first thing about this model. It is a 220 HP yanmar inboard diesel. The intended use would be cruising/fishing 3-4 people in Prince William Sound area of Alaska.

Does anyone out there know much about these boats? Ride, towability, strengths, weeknesses, etc.

The boat is a 2008 with 30 hours on it and a 5212 garmin setup.

They are asking $119,000

Thanks in advance

so this was 2012 prices.

this is an old thread about them.

I own hull #3 of the 29 Venture (C-Belle). I've had her for 4+ years now and am very happy cruising with this boat. I don't own a trailer as we keep her in the water so I can't tell you what it's like towing her. She has the 220 Yanmar, bow thruster, no stern thruster. No generator or air conditioning. We cruise at between 7 and 9 knots. We currently have her insured for $100,000 cdn.

There was one which sold for a bargain price. It had been for sale for a long time. However for the most part I think the 120K figure is not far off for a well maintained boat in today's market.
