22 Cruiser w/ 115

We are rigging a 22 Cruiser with a 115 Suzuki, and I wonder if anyone else has this set up, and what prop they are using?

We've done 90's, and so can make an educated guess, but wanted to see if anyone has found a "sweet" set up for the 115.

I have a 115 Suzuki on my 22, but all i know it's the standard prop that came with the boat and engine. You can see it pictured under my site. I get about 30-31 mph and the fuel burn seem very low, but i only have 35 hours on the boat and motor.

Mine has a 13-7/8 X 17P Solas SS I was running a 14 X 17P Suzuki Aluminum. At Lake Powell I can get about 5400 RPM.

Matt - I am running a Mercury 115 on my 22' Dory. It is the Yamaha block with Merc. EFI and cosmetics. I'm using the standard prop. Since my boating is between 4,000 and 8,000 feet, the extra horse power is very useful, particularly when heavily loaded. Using a GPS reading at 4,000 the top speed is around 35 - too fast IMO. The Zuzuki 115 should be a dandy - make sure you purchase the EFI. In three seasons mine has functioned flawlessly. No problems whatsoever. John

We had a c-22 cruiser with a 06 suzuki 90 which the suzuki rep said was a 100hp we ran a 14by 18 suzuki s/s prop she would top out at 34-35 mph at 5800rpm the rep said with 115 it would rev tp 6200rpm and give a few more mph These are great engines I now have the Yamaha what a whimp compared to the suzuki
