There were 54 calendars ordered last year so we are planning to do it again!

Start digging through your 2017 archives and scouring your photo absorbing devices for calendar worthy material. Send high resolution pictures to me (findmeoutside@hotmail.com) before November 30th and I will plan to publish the calendar by early December.

More details:

Above 1650x1275 and bigger is even better.

JPG, TIFF, JPEG, PNG, or Bitmap will all work.

Most accounts can send/receive 20-50mb of attachments per message currently but if you need to break your submissions into multiple messages, that is not a problem for me. I am a highly trained email slave.

If you want to limit each message to about 25MB combined, that would be generally safe on both sides.

Most contributors in the past sent 2-4 photos total.

I am planning to hit the 10 dollar mark again (or cheapest LuLu offers) with a 8 1/2x11 landscape page size. I will also add Canadian Holidays this year!

Please put "Calendar" somewhere in the subject line and include the following in your email for each pic:

-Photographers C-Brat username
-General location where the photo was taken
-Name of any C-Dory's in the picture (if it's not obvious)

I love last years and use it as our "vacation calendar" (where everyone marks their vaca/time off on) at work. We are a small office :-)
 
The 2018 calendar is ready for ordering. Price is still 9.99 each and thank you very much to everyone who contributed and of course the folks who made it to print! I added Canadian holidays this time as well.

Thanks Harvey, and we are up to 30 units ordered as of this morning.

The LuLu site keeps reminding me that I am not making any revenue and I should raise the price to gather more revenue. Pushy Pushy

Next year, I may use another site called photoreflect to build and provide a calendar product. I talked with them about it this year, but they were not quite ready with their calendar tools at the time. Unless someone else would like to start producing this calendar :wink:

20% of the orders are from our friends to the north! But they scored over half of the photo locations.

Greg, I'm curious why considering the change from Lulu? It seems they are so easy to order from. Are they hard to do the set up, or (noting the "pushy pushy" comment? I do a couple of calendars each year and it is hard to beat the $10 mark by much for a short run product. Lulu's seems like a very worthwhile product.

They are pretty good from a price and ordering standpoint, but the way photos load into the calendar template is always more work than it should be, and I end up revising each image layout about three times in photoshop. I could get more systematic about it by standardizing on a size and ratio, but the variations in contributed pictures make that a little harder. I am just interested in giving another option a try to see how it compares and jump back to lulu if it doesn't pan out.

I like to keep making improvements and sometimes that bleeds over to boating as well.
