I have a 2012 Tomcat with the original head that sits on top of the waste tank. I have been trying to find the model of it so I can get the replacement seal so the bowl holds water. Can anyone that replaced that seal and can give me the part # or any info they found on replacing it? The only thing I can find is that it is a dometic but not finding any more info on it

Do you have a rubber or gasket shop near where you live. Pensacola has a rubber and gasket shop. We take the old seal in to them and in about 10 minutes they have made a new one. The price was considerably more, depending on what material, and how long it took.

No, I don't think so. I was just gonna get the replacement seal online but wasn't exactly sure which one I needed

Looking up what we had on our CD25, it was the Traveler 711-M28 Marine Toilet. A Dometic/Sealand model. Same model was used on the TomCat.

Hi flboy,
The model number is under the skirt around the base, remove that.
Call Environmentalmarine.com in Miami, very helpful tech support.

You'll need the seals with or without a 'drain hole' depending on model and year. At $65 you may as well buy two for free shipping over $100 since they may last under two years.

Consider replacing it with an AirHead...no smell EVER and no pump outs EVER AGAIN. Those Jabsco macerator overboard pumps tend to blow apart all over the galley stuff you keep in that cabinet. We just got back from 8 weeks in Canada where pump outs can run $80 if you can find a working one. DM if you'd like to chat or don't like the smell.
Cheers!
John
