I had gone back 3 years before, so I went back to Jan of 2010 in the "Market Place" Remember that asking prices are not selling prices. I have seen selling prices considerably below the asking. We are considering only the early pre 1987 boats.

The vast majority of the pre 1987 22's have been repowered. That makes a large difference. There were 3 boats between $15,000 and $10,000, I didn't list below.

I looked mostly at boats which sold for 10K or less esp. with orig motor.
1985-orig 70 hp sold for10K
1983 96 Honda, sold for 10K
1982 70 hp ask 11, prob sold for 10
1981 70 hp, new up, trailer, well cared: ask 13.9, prob sold for that
1982, 70hp ask 7.5K
1986, no motor, some work done ask 6.9K
1986, 90 Merc needed work 4.5K
 
I am Viewing it one last time with my friend and making an offer next week end... I will let you know how it comes out.
