Interesting thread....but for giggles....no one is talking about any 18' C-Dory boats.. Yes, I have two C-Dory boats now (again). Thinking about selling, not giving away, the last 18 Angler built by the Toland family. Hull # 14.
Ill be putting fact n figures together soon...as we have just finished potato harvest, and, that has been followed by two days of basically sleeping, and falling asleep in the recliner. Aint as young as I use to be.
Under Freebyrd photos, subfolder named C-Byrd. Pics there. Yes, this is the hull built in WA, lived in FL for a while, sat unused for years.... then I was going to "clean it up a little bit.."... which turned to stripping the entire hull back to bare fiberglass, epoxying ever single thru hull hole, re-spraying the gel-coat on the interior, then, I got busy with a total refurbish job....and many, many thousands later....a 1984 C-Dory Angler, the last factory 18' Angler....not a Toland 18-6 or 18-8....but a true Angler.
I realize I will never get all my funds back...as those projects are a labor of love...and dollars....the love never ends, the dollars just go away...
So, Ill put some facts, figures, specs together...and post later. The boat is in WA state, today, in a barn all lonely. I travel cross country couple times a year,,,,but, that is why we have trailers.... to enjoy the waters of our Great Nation.
