Actually the folks at Scuttlebutt are good folks and good friends. It is OK to go to Scuttlebutt! Avoid Redhook and Pyramid like the plague though!

The trip up the river to old town Snohomish was a great success thanks to somewhat cooperative weather, a few good boats and especially good friends. Thanks Dave for leading this adventure and thanks Joe & Ruth for seeing us off.

Kudos to Dave for setting up and guiding us safely on the Snohomish. Kim and I had a good time exploring the delta. Great to meet everyone on the trip and we look forward to more CBGTs.

So...Roger from SENSEI/SERENITY was not able to make the cruise....as he was participating in a Tatters for Tennesians' Distribution program and a few days of rest at Momma Byrd's home. Beth...Thanks for lending us Roger for some time. I know how much this cruise meant to you. We did have a great time and as noted in some of our chat while aboard ALOYSIUS and other times..... when the weather is not perfect and is rainy, wet, a bit cold and others stay at home....well....those are the best days for us to be out in our warm, dry boats. The waters and ramps are all ours as others stay home.

Dave and others: Thanks for putting this river cruise together. Will have to put one together next time I am out that way.

Byrdman... Sending thanks to the NW C-Brat crowd for loaning me Roger for a week or so.
 
Although we weren't able to do the run up the river, we want to thank Dave for putting this cruise together as it gave us an unexpected opportunity to stop by and say hello to everyone that was there. Maybe we'll be able to make it up the river another time. Oh, as we were going north on I-5 we could look over to the east and see C-Dorys near the Hwy 2 bridge.

Great photos, and thanks for sharing. Next year we are NOT getting any flu bugs.

Thanks Dave for all your efforts, and if you need to unload one of those river chart/maps you paid for we will be glad to pick that up and use it next year.

I'm bummed that Two Lucky Fish didn't make it.

I've had to curtail time and energy outputs pretty radically to manage my health and sanity!
