OK, gonna try again. Got my unused SBS ticket re-issued so I'll be a boatless, dogless Brat arriving Thursday evening, leaving around Saturday noon for Mukilteo. Hopefully nephew Pat will bring "Furball with tongue". I could use a dog fix.

Mike, I've got all my Dodge cheap shots ready to go, but it's really too easy....

Thanks for the motel info. Scored a room.

At the top of the C-Brats page (any page), click on "Event Signups". Once the page loads, you can find the gathering you want in the drop-down under "Join a Group".

Homeless man last seen in the Seattle Lock and Dam area will be drifting about the NW areas around the weekend of of a known C-Brat gathering. This man is not armed, due to modern airport security, is pretty much harmless, loves to cook omelets in the morning, and has been known to show up at gatherings around America. The below photo was taken back in Jan07, and no other family members are known to be traveling with him. Last gathering made in the NW area, he was seen on one boat going to and from the Blakley Island area, but was kicked off and housed on a CD25 during the hours he did sleep. He will cook to help offset housing imposures, does not mind serving beers or other vivations, loves to join in with others and loves to have his belly rubbed after over eating many of the local flavors. It is now rumored this individual will again show back up, boatless once again. Anyone who can stow this individual, contact the authorities in the south eastern Cumberland River area.

FRIDAY July 20th:

Anthony's Restaurant will now take our reservations for dinner on Friday July 20th. Last year somehow we managed to seat 40 people at one time and Anthony's service was superb. This year it has been decided that it'd be more convenient for the staff at Anthony's if reservations are made individually.

The dinner hour starts at 4 pm. There's an Early Sunset Special Menu from 4-6 pm. Brats might want to contact another Brat in order to share a table.

The phone number for ANTHONY'S 360-647-5588.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

If you are unable to get a reservation at Anthony's, another restaurant HEARTHFIRE just recently opened. Just two blocks west of Anthony's and has great views of the water. Dinner hour begins about 4 pm. Hearthfire is owned by Anthony's.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

We've got a room at the Travel House Inn, so we'll be there. Still debating whether or not The Lizzie will. If there is a flotilla going up past Everett (on the water) Dotty and I would seriously consider joining in. Any plans for this? Thanks.

Ruth & Joe,

So is there a general time all of the Brats are planning to eat? In other words, have any of you already made reservations for a specific time? If so, then we can make our reservations so that we can be eating at the same time as everyone else.

When I phoned up there (Anthony's) on the 23rd, I was told that there were two C-Brats that had phoned in reservations for tables at 5 PM. (One was a party of 8 the other a party of 6). So, I requested 5 PM as well (Party of 4). Cassandra (the reservationist), said she'd try to group the C-Brats in the same area of the restaurant.

OK, got the dinner reservation info for Anthony's and am following up.

Are there any other reservations that need to be made individually (slips, etc.) that I need to know about?

Thanks,
Warren

Squalicum Harbor only does group reservations and that was taken care of months ago. The entire length of P Dock is reserved which is approx. 550 feet. There will not be individual slips.

Enter the harbor through the East entrance. You'll most likely see other C-Dorys tied up there. The Port posts notices on the pilings that the dock is reserved for C-Dorys. The hours will be from Friday at 1 pm (July 20) until Sunday 1 pm (July 22). May have to raft up as we might run out of dock space.

Envelopes for the moorage are available outside of Bayside Cafe located near Gate 9.

I will p-mail everyone with the gate code and the restroom code.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

22 25' C-Dorys or 25 22' C-Dorys or 40 16', 19', 22', 25', and 29' C-Dorys.
I think the plan is to have everyone tie up bow or stern first  .

As soon as the third boat rafts up - thats when the dockside one has to leave.

So, I am not a math whiz, but 40 boats from 16 to 25 feet on 550 feet of dock equals rafting about 3 deep?

Yeah, it might get a bit deep at B'Ham but we'll all manage somehow....the Harbormaster said he'd find room for everyone but they might not necessarily be with the group. I also tried to get U Dock included but it seems some yacht club has reserved it on the same weekend as the C-Brats. If anyone has some extra fenders, please bring them. Thanks

Med anchor?? Might work. Three feet of dock space per boat. 150 divided by 3 -- yep, just make it. What a picture that would make -- but the best picture would be Joe trying to herd everyone into position.

There is a Honda shop a few blocks from Bellingham harbor -- we used them yesterday. If anyone needs engine servicing (before or after the Gathering) or any repairs or checkups or parts -- they are good folks (recommended by Joe and Ruthie). For servicing appointment, they need about three weeks advance for reservation, so need to be contacted soon. Contact Joe or Ruth by personal messaging for details if interested.
