The dates for the 2015 Friday Harbor cbgt have been set as May 15-16-17. Tami, the harbormaster is happy to see us and everything has been set in motion. BUT...a new host will be needed.. Patti and I are honoring a long standing commitment to care for an elderly relative toward the end of her life. We will be out of state for the foreseeable future. We have written clear guidelines for setting up the gathering. It is really quite easy and FH knows what we do. Tom and Susan have most of the supplies and we will pass the remainder on very soon. We will be available on the site. SO THE FH CBGT IS SET BUT IF YOU WANT IT TO CONTINUE IT NEEDS A NEW HOST!

Just saw this thread..... that darn work thing gets in the way of enjoying life all too often.

Anyway, congrats to the Langs in assuming the mantle of the Friday Harbor CBGT for 2015! Just hope Barry can suitably teach 'em the (anti) rain dance from out of state.

Barry and Patti who have long and extremely capably handled this annual CBGT kickoff event will be greatly missed this year for sure though. Its very commendable the commitment you and Patti have made to family Barry.

One point; however, I assume the correct dates for this CBGT are actually Friday, May 15 -Sunday, May 17th, correct?

Thanks for the clarification,
Dan, Tanya, and Hannah on C-Renity

We will be there! Patti and Barry, we sure will miss you two, but understand your family commitment.

Cindie and Greg, thanks for stepping up. With Susan and Tom's help, should be a good one, but make sure and practice your "Sun Dance!"

Hopefully we can get the new Kim Christine christened. Is there anyone available?

I just read an article about how bad ethanol gas is in older outboard engines. Is Friday Harbor ethanol gas? If it is, I will make sure I got full tanks before leaving the Gulf Islands.

Martin.
