Chubby Bunny-

The C-Brat's own get-together is at the hotel Friday night, and the C-Dory factory's party is on Saturday night on their manufacturing facility.

Joe.

As a newcomer here - what is the C-Dory factory's party - is it open to all? Does the factory do tours ? My wife and I live in Seattle so we plan on going to the Boat Show - but I was wondering about the C-Dory Factory.

Tom and Shan: Sent yall an individual note. Your email was not listed ... If you are not real familar with our site, from the Home Page, just click on the little envelope that indicate messages. Hope to see yall at the show.

Sea Wolf (Joe) - are you going to drive, come by train or fly up here? If you are coming by train or flying, I would be willing to pick you up.

Keep me informed of your schedule and maybe we can have a few beers together. If the weather permits we could take a spin around the sound in my boat.

Looking forward to seeing you again.

Dave-

I'm driving up, and will be there at the hotel sometime Thursday.

Would love to meet you and share some thoughts, even go for a boat ride, weather permitting, of course!

Maybe I could arrange to stop by your place if there would be any advantage to it.

Thanks for the offers! Looking forward to seeing you again!

Joe.

Joe - keep me informed on your schedule. Depending on the time you are going by, it could be my office or home. My office is in downtown Olympia, a few blocks from the capitol. I work late most days but if I know when you will be here, I can take off at any time. My home is kind of out of the way, about 25 miles SW of Olympia on Michigan Hill.

Dave-

Will do about the schedule.

Will be more firm as we approach the date.

I don't really have to stop by unless there's some advantage to it over saeeing you at the boat show. Too bad it's be too early to see the new baby donkey(s)!

Joe.

Hi Brats,

Add two more to the convention list!

Marcia and I are flying to Seattle on Thursday, the 25 and returning on Monday, the 29th. We've got a suite at the Hawthorn and are really looking forward to meeting everyone and visiting the factory once again.

I know about the party on Friday and the factory shindig on Saturday, but is anything happening on Sunday?

Also, does this post get us on the "official list" or do I have to contact someone?

We can't wait!

Nick
"Valkyrie"

Nick-

Go to the top of the page above and look below the C-Dory on the left. The sixth item from the left is the "Event Signups".

Hope to see you and Marcia in Seattle!

Joe.

Nick,

Your post reminded me to mention I'll be there on Thursday evening as part of the Alaska contigent. I think there will be more than one of us since Mark started this off. It will be good to finally meet in person the prior owner of my camperback.

Joe,

Think I could catch a ride with you to the factory Saturday Night?

Tom-

You Betcha' !!! My turn!

And maybe anywhere else the party wanders to during the Thursday-Sunday stay.

Looking forward to seeing you and everybody else there!

Joe.

Hey hey hey :thup :thup
things are looking good. as of last Wednesday when I talked with Linda she told me that we had somewhere around 21-26 rooms reserved . way to go there !!!!!

for those who may have tried to get thru to Linda since Wed., she has been out of town with my better half on a little excursion to Tn. & Ga. Linda will be back in her office thursday. you can still email and call and leave messages and she will definitely get back to you.

I am adding parts of the earlier info post from Linda here for you all to see again.

Studio suite (sleeps 4) $75.00 + tax per night
Townhouse suite (sleeps 6) $85.00+ tax per night

Free meeting room (all 3 spaces) Friday for 50 rooms reserved
Free meeting room (2 spaces like last year) for 30 rooms reserved.

They're only increasing the rooms $6.00 per night for next year--a much better price than anyone else booking by themselves. I think it's fair. I hope the group does too. They DO value and appreciate the C-Dory group--they said it's always a pleasure to have them at their hotel.

Have the group start calling me or e-mailing me with credit cards asap.

I would like a check for $10.00 per booking sent directly to my agency (to eliminate the confusion of running around collecting money at the function).

PS I'm also more than willing to book anyone's air/car for the function !
Thanks, Roger, for your help.

Susan and I are sharing a room with my folks for the boat show and the c-brat gathering. Not sure if I will let the old man in on the party, he does not have a c-dory but does have a 44 atlantic that I want to use as a fishing base this summer. We will see you all there.

Well Margaret just informed me that we are going to the boat show and will participate in as many functions as possible. We are excited about meeting the other C-Brats that are on line. I will look into rooms at the Hawthorne. We will probably stay Friday & Saturday night. We will drive to Portland on Thurs and to Seattle Friday. (It's a long drive from Eureka Ca.)
What functions besides the factory hospitality and the C-Brats are going to be available for the two days? How far is the hotel from Quest Field or Lake Union?

Gene Morris

Anybody going to have a 22 or 25 at the Bellharbor marina downtown that weekend that they would be willing to take out for a short spin? Sue is dying to take a ride on one for comparison with our 16.

The scheduled functions so far are the get together at the motel on friday night and then on saturday there may be a trip to the snoq. falls brewery and then the factory party on sat evening.. as time gets closer we will be posting more.
the motel is about 20 minutes give or take depending on traffic from quest field.once at quest field you can take a shuttle from there to lake union for the floating part of the show

You know, if we had not booked at the Hawthorne, that would have been a HECK of an idea. I am really anxious to stay at Bell Harbor. This would have been a perfect chance (except for the Friday night party at the Hawthorne). Maybe next year though...Sorry can't accommodate you on the "short spin" request, at least this particular weekend...
