    Water in Cabin

Hose is fine. I’m pretty sure it’s the float valve.

    Water in Cabin

Thanks, I’ll follow up on all your suggestions. The water was all the way up to the bow. Complete with floating PotiPotty!

    Water in Cabin

I am the proud new owner of Thisaway (2006 22’ Cruiser). Battery left on 2. Both bilge pumps on Auto. When we have a downpour (3.4”/hr.) by the time I get to the boat (at the dock)the water in the cockpit is lower than the floorboards but there is 3” of water in the cabin. What am I doing wrong?

    Throttle Play

The throttle on my 2006 Yami 90 hp on Bobby Lou (19' Angler) has a long throw with no response, then suddenly kicks up fast. If I am not careful passengers suffer. The cable seems tight and I don't know where else to adjust it. Any ideas? Roger

    Welcome to the C-Brats!

Hi Upanchor- I have a 19' Angler and love the boat. She is just right for the two of us, easy to launch, trailer and retrieve. I used to live on Turkey Cove, near Port Clyde, ME and I think she would do fine on the coast. We hope to get her up there soon. Roger

    LED Nav Lights

Here is a link taken from the marinebeam website that will give you info (perhaps more than you ever wanted) about light and filter transmission through red and green filters: http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/yhst-542 ... ources.pdf Enjoy! Roger

    LED Nav Lights

Hi Sunbeam- Yes, that is the same side fixture. I don't know why the bulbs are listed with two different part numbers. I took the part numbers from the packing list but noticed that the anchor, cabin and V-berth bulbs have the GE 15 designation on their website. I believe they are the same. I...

    C-Dory 16 Cruiser

We have found the 19 a pleasant compromise. Easy to launch, trailer and retrieve. Handles chop well but has minimum draft. A bit cramped for cruising but to paraphrase a former official one cruises with the boat one has, not the boat one wishes one had. We enjoy it a lot. Roger

Geological Survey report - Climate change affects on coasts

Very frightening stuff. Thanks for posting it. I can only hope we have the political will to act in appropriate ways and quickly.
