    My new Tomcat so far.

Fred, you should not have to, but maybe an angle adapter would fix your door latching problem. Here is one, you may find it less expensive elsewhere http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=58073&familyName=Marinco+30+Amp+Right+Angle+Cordset+Adapter

    07/27 - 07/29 - Comox, Vancouver Island, BC Gathering

Wild Blue plans to be in the area then, I will let him speak for himself, but the crew of Willie's Tug would like to try to make it during our summer cruising. Keep us on the list for now. Thanks

    IPad 64G, WiFi, 3G, 1st Gen, $499, Target

My upgrade to iOS5.0 went smooth. Looks like my 34.99 app upgraded also. So new stuff, with tides and currents for favorite locations. Doesn't seem to get tide info for gps position easily though.

    dog onboard

Jake pretty much lives on the cockpit. That is until the engine starts and then he heads for the v-berth. We have given up trying to stop him. We spread a cover over the berth before we start the engine now. Winds started out this morning at 30 with gusts to 36, not much chance of finishing...

    dog onboard

Actually the reason I have a Golden Retriever is before Jake, there was Champ. Champ came to live with us because I believed that I needed a retriever for duck hunting the streams and lakes in Northeast Texas. The duck hunting urge faded, but the Goldens lasted. Champ was with us for nearly...

Jake does well with twice a day. For the past seven years, we have not missed more than a dozen mornings of walking before breakfast. Afloat or ashore. Jake really likes the dinghy whether he needs to go or not. And Roger, I think you are baiting us.

Hear hear Roger, thanks for expressing my sentiments exactly Miles, please keep it about boats, thanks. Many may agree with your politics, but this is not a place to try to convince or change minds..

Just 15 minutes of politics (please) :)

As far as I am concerned this is no better than SPAM. Please take it elsewhere.

I do not believe much of it made it to the Tropical Tip. But what would we know, we are still landlocked in Louisiana.

Diverting Course from Lake Powell to Lake Roosevelt!

Could not have been as entertaining as watching Willie going feet first through Jake's dog door when we were locked out of our house. Both extremely funny!!

The Cruising Adventures of Wild Blue and crew...

Scruffy is what Herb looks like after four months aboard a 27 foot boat. Willie is, as always, the picture of perfection. Doesn't rub off on me!

    Erie Canal Trip

Thanks Bruce, enjoyed your write-up. We spoke to Jim Favors today, and he tells us that the Erie Canal is mostly shutdown for this year. Next year is to be determined due to damages from Irene. Sad to hear of the loss of such historic buildings. Our dream is to follow your wake in that area.

Boat US magazine Bill and El

After 3 months on a 27 foot boat, Jake and I have decided this is doable. Willie may need just a little more convincing.
