If I may, I would add that with Navionics you also get charts of a lot of lakes throughout North America ( unfortunately not the Great Lakes)which you don`t get with Navimatics. (I may be wrong about that?}

I`ve been cleaning up some old boating stuff and I have an old C-Map card that covers Long Island Sound: East Jan. 1999 and a Bluechart Data card that covers Lake Superior 2001. If anyone can use them, PM me and I`ll give them to you. Otherwise they are headed for the garbage.

I just received an answer from Navionics and they said that the marine apps were only temporarily removed from I Tunes store to undergo some updating and should be available again soon. In the meantime I just downloaded Navimatics, we`ll see how I like it.
