Have dates been set for the 2012 Lake Powell gathering?

Barry, I don't know that it matters. I think a bunch of us are going to be there regardless of date. No trip to Iowa for me this year!

We are wanting to spend a week or so on Lake Powell this year and were thinking it would be great to be there while other C Brats were there. Any idea when some of you might be there? What were the dates for the gathering last year?

The last two weeks of September and the first two weeks of October. Usually a gathering near Oak Canyon on the third weekend of September. People come and go, but the Oak Canyon rondezvous is the largest concentration of boats.

We plan to be at Powell a few days after the Delta Gathering for a week or so, another week in mid summer and then for the Sept Gathering--about 2 weeks at that time.

We plan on being there a few days before the gathering at Oak Creek & a week or so after.

Jay&Jolee's timetable is about what I was looking at as well.

I'm currently in Florida and plan to be here until about mid-April. At that point I plan to drive back to AZ, do some stuff to the boat and maybe take a week on Powell before heading to Anacortes to launch.

Hopefully things will align so I can be on the water to explore the area between Anacortes and Sullivan Bay for Jun/Jul/Aug then haul-out and head back for the Powell CGBT in late September.

...at least that's the Plan.

Hey Casey. Good to see you made Florida ok. Looking forward to a summer cruise with you. Carolyn and I will be heading for Powell right after air races in Reno if they go. If they don't go we'll be in Wahweap about the 20th. Stay till it's cold then south for Texas gulf coast. See you out there all. Look frwar to meeting you Dr Bob and seeing you Jay and Jolee again. Just on the ferry to Nanaimo after an awesome Seattle cbgt. Carolyn like the show and the Rangers. She says "too much bling". For her. She will make a good crew! George

I plan to be there for the gathering at Oak Canyon and the group wandering that follows, perhaps even stay a little longer this time.

Last year I took a second week and wandered around southern Colorado, which was very nice. I may or may not do something like that again this year.

All we need now is for Fearless Leader (Chris) to chime in with an "official" date.

Looking like maybe a warm, dry winter. I wonder what the water control people will do with reservoir levels.
