Thanks for the feedback! I've been trying to use the iPad. It does a good job of mirroring the Garmin however it needs to be plugged in for a day of fishing and the screen behind a waterproof cover is not nearly as good as a proper plotter / fish finder. I'm going to keep experimenting with it...

Just an FYI. For trolling I've added a Garmin autopilot remote so that I can steer from this device while fishing in the cockpit. Not so helpful for docking or other things but I've been really happy with it for fishing. https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/636376

Hey. Wondering if anyone has installed a cockpit fishfinder or plotter. I'm thinking of installing a 7" plotter above the bathroom window on a Venture 26. Wondering if anyone else has done a similar thing.

I now have Sandy's S3x14.5x15R from his old motor. The prop is in new condition and I'll report back after testing. Current prop: Honda SS S4x14.25x15R New Prop: Honda SS S3x14.5x15R Should be an interesting comparison. I'll let ya know. Thanks Sandy! C-Brats are great!

I'm interested in trying a 3-blade vs the 4-blade on the boat now. Seems like it would get RPMs up. Obviously pros and cons to both. Probably the 14.5? PM sent.

After a good flush with SaltAway, then I tilt up and down a few times. As a final step I do a quick dry fire of the engines. Just on and off with no water. This blows any remaining water out and doesn't hurt the impellers. Do others do the blow out?
