Been there, done that a lot. While I'm not sure of the exact reason, I think it has to do with trapped air.
I do what My IRA did.
A teaspoon of baking soda in the fresh water tank can help get rid of that plastic taste.
Oh yeah, it won't be long now! Cruising down to Warrenton, dropping anchor in 16 ft. of water.... watching the end of my fishing rod, waiting for the tap, tap, tap....FISH ON!
Oh man, I can hardly wait.

If you were given a choice between 2 integrated systems that were completely separate from each other or 2 non integrated systems with 6 screens (2 each for radar, sonar, gps) which would you prefer?

There was a spinner involved. Ditch the fish flasher and use a green tipped rainbow spinner instead.
Lyle caught his using 1 rainbow spinner 5 ft. ahead of his herring. Today I was using a rainbow spinner followed by 2 ft. leader, then another bead swivel and brass bladed...
A big thank you to all that attended Cathlamet 05! It was a great time. 11 Boats were there, I couldn't get a count on all the boats represented. Lyle managed to save our towns fishing reputation by pulling out this 15 lb'er this morning.
Sorry to hear you's can't make it.
Tyboo, CAVU, Mar-T and Lyle T. are here. We're looking forward to a fun weekend. The weather was great this evening, warm and no wind. We just got back from having dinner at the River View Resturant.

No pics. I don't know what they did with the Boulton. See ya tomorrow.

You've already reserved a seat onboard the Helen O for this weekends fish. Fishing gear is supplied.
The dock has 110v and 30 amp outlets. I think they have spare plugs in...
I just got back from the harbor, talked with Jackie (Harbormaster). Our case of Stone Wolf wine has arrived and is resting comfortably. :cocktail
Some guy launched his $65k Boulton sled and forgot to put in the drain plug. It sank in the harbor.

The ferry is in normal operation. It departs Westport 15 minutes after the hour and departs Puget Island on the hour, 5 am to 10 pm daily.

If you've fished bouy 10 you're a battle hardened veteran. This will be a piece of cake. :thup

The current in this area typically runs about 4 mph at peak. Not like the swifter upstream Bonniville currents or even the tides I've seen on puget sound.
I refuse to go near a hogline, there's no need to. Many kwikfishers anchor in a staggered formation so that there is no need to...
