Give it a shot of ether and see if it tries to start. If it does the carb needs more work.

If it is getting fuel and spark then the next thing I would do is adjust the valves. If they are out of adjustment they will make it hard to start. Also make sure the automatic choke is really working.

You can use the Control King to do it you would just need to make your own brackets to mount the servos. My new Suzuki has Troll control that lets you adjust idle speed by 100 rpm steps. You can also buy Model aircraft servos and control boards and make everything for cheap.

I can't see any good reason to use a lithium battery for a start battery. The lithium battery likes to run between 10 and 90 percent and it's storage is 50 percent. Here is a video from Victron energy that explains the problems with using an alternator to charge them...

Turn your main motor as far as it will go to the side your going to mount the kicker. Turn the kicker towards the main and adjust it so they don't hit each other. Also check them when they are tilled.

Disconnect the steering ram from the motor and see if the motor binds when moving it by hand. Then turn the wheel with it disconnected and see if it binds or is free. The only time my Garmin stalls is when it reaches the end of the cylinder.
