I run a Lowrance HDS Carbon network, with an older SIMRAD radar and it works great. I have autopilot Lowrance and a second Lowrance for the cockpit so I can use the autopilot from the back of the boat. BassPro has a great deal on the Carbon 12. System has been good, but not cheap.

Thanks Bob, I appreciate it. Catching the 15 amp fuses in the manual is a good one. I think to maximize shore charging each of the 5amp wires should go directly to the two batteries. I'll hunt tomorrow for the Red/Blue wire!

I have a factory installed (as far as I can tell) guest 2621A. It has three sets of charging wires leading out of the beneath the passenger rear seat, when it seems to terminate on the port side battery compartment there are two sets of wires. I would guess the 10amp charging cable is for big...

Hardee you should be able to get a good price for them, as a full replacement set would be 5k+. Just be careful disconnecting them as connectors seem to be the point of failure.

Hopefully, other manufactures will step up to the plate and provide some competition. I won't be getting one under my Christmas tree this year!

I think that is the deal of the year. I looked everywhere for a trailer for a 25 with EOH and nothing under 6 grand and that need 3k of work! Saw a very cheap property in Port Angeles for sale last week on Facebook marketplace….

Sounds like a great deal. Here are the details on the trailer that I had for future reference, undersized in my opinion for a 25 but it worked. Maybe if you had a single main and not a lot of accessories it would work but even the tire size was small for the weight we were dragging around...

I’d post a wanted ad on Craigslist and the C-Dory Facebook group. Mine was picked up by 22 owner and since it was for a 25 it worked without adjustments.

My guest which is likely a 2007 shows when it is charging and maintaining for both batteries. I believe it does both simultaneously. Yes I think the best way to test is when it goes into the "green" light charged mode is to check to see if its in a maintain or a charge state. Hope you get it...

Some have a second set of controls. I have a second lowrance screen with autopilot in the cockpit and I'll be installing a trollmaster remote throttle control shortly.

The DCS50S looks helpful, and it’s on sale, but do I still need a shore power charger that’s compatible or could I somehow hook my guest charger up to it as well? Did you put the dcs in the battery area near the transom or locate it in the cabin? So no need for additional alternator protection...
